Most recently, Vicki served as a clinical consultant supporting agencies across the U.S. to achieve regulatory compliance. Vicki has also served as a CHAP site visitor, home health, home care and hospice administrator and clinic director and as a marketing director for home health and home infusion organizations. She has achieved the Certified HOPE Specialist-Clinical credential and is a CHAP Certified Home Health and Hospice Consultant.

  Vicki achieved her Associate of Science in Nursing from West Georgia College and later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University. Vicki is married with 3 adult children. She and her family have taken many road trips and have tent-camped across the lower 48 states spending time in all. They are also boaters and hikers and have visited Disney World many times over the years.

  CHAP is happy to offer our Home Care customers an Accreditation Intensive. This is a great training for all of our Home Care (Private Duty) customers regardless of what stage of the accreditation process you are in. This workshop also provides the opportunity for consultants to become Home Care Certified. This training will help prepare you to work with customers and guide them through the process of becoming accredited. A post workshop exam is required to become certified (passing score of 80% is required).

  This session is intended for all CHAP Home Care accredited agencies or those who wish to learn about the CHAP Standards of Excellence for Home Care. The two-day session will provide an overview of the CHAP Standards for Home Care, the most frequent citations in each area, and tips for dealing with these challenges. This service line was previously known as private duty and includes both skilled and non-skilled private duty services.

  Dr. Jennifer Kennedy is the Vice President of Quality, Standards, & Compliance. She spent many years as a leader and nurse in diverse healthcare settings with the past 25 years in hospice and palliative care.

  Dr. Kennedy came to CHAP in 2021 with a vision of moving the organization’s quality forward as “the” accreditation partner of choice for the majority of community-based providers. She believes no matter what type of care a patient receives or how many times they receive care, every experience should be of the highest quality.

  Kennedy leads the CHAP quality team and interacts with CMS related to regulatory and quality issues. Kennedy serves as faculty at national and state conferences, is widely published in medical trade journals, contributes to and reviews health care published materials, is a published author, and teaches graduate healthcare administration courses at the university level.

  Kennedy serves as a member of the Hospice & Palliative Care Network of Maryland board of directors and has been honored by the UK’s St. Christopher’s Hospice as a Nursing Pioneer for their 2020 Palliative Care Nursing Project.

The majority of her experience has been based in the home services arena including home health, hospice, home care and home infusion. Most recently, Vicki served as a clinical consultant supporting agencies across the U.S. to achieve regulatory compliance. Vicki has also served as a CHAP site visitor, home health, home care and hospice administrator and clinic director and as a marketing director for home health and home infusion organizations. She has achieved the Certified HOPE Specialist-Clinical credential and is a CHAP Certified Home Health and Hospice Consultant.

  Vicki achieved her Associate of Science in Nursing from West Georgia College and later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University. Vicki is married with 3 adult children. She and her family have taken many road trips and have tent-camped across the lower 48 states spending time in all. They are also boaters and hikers and have visited Disney World many times over the years.
