Consultant Training

Consultant training programs are available for those that want to become a CHAP certified consultant and provide guidance for customers going through the accreditation process. These courses are designed to help you, as the consultant, become an expert in the accreditation process.

    CHAP is excited to offer consultants a live, virtual option for certification. The three day agenda makes it easy if you want to attend both Home Health and Hospice sessions: Day one - Hospice, Day two - Home Health & Hospice, Day Three - Home Health. This registration is for the home health training.

    CHAP is excited to offer those that want to become certified or renew as a certified consultant a live, virtual option for certification. The three day agenda makes it easy if you want to attend both Home Health and Hospice sessions: Day one: Hospice / Day two: Home Health & Hospice / Day Three: Home Health. There will also be a comprehensive exam required as part of the certification process.

    This registration is for Home Health only (Days two & three). If you would like to attend both events (all three days) please register for that event specifically (click here: CHAP Education: Virtual Hospice AND Home Health Certified Consultant Training (chaplinq.org)). 

    This event will focus on: 

    1. The accreditation process 
    2. The CHAP accreditation Standards 
    3. The most cited deficiencies 
    4. Strategies to implement to attain improved compliance within your organizations
    5. CHAP specific processes
    6. The site visit process 

    Join us on Wednesday & Thursday Jan. 12-13, 2021 *starting at 10am each day. 

    Training will take place via Microsoft Teams and attendance of the entire training event is required for CE's.

    Bobbie Warner is a Registered Nurse who obtained her BSN from Eastern University. Bobbie has worked in the community health environment for over 25 years in multiple capacities. Her community-based career began with providing direct patient care for several years in home health, hospice and private duty. She has held multiple management roles in Administration, Education and Performance Improvement. Bobbie joined CHAP in 2009 as a Site Visitor; moved into the role of Director of Accreditation in 2015 and In March of 2020 Bobbie took on the role of CHAP’s Director of Education. She gets true enjoyment when witnessing the “light bulb” moment of a learner.
