This two-and-a-half-day workshop will focus on improving your sales techniques and growing your agency census with integrity. This is a hands-on, skill-based workshop that is focused in on the healthcare industry and has a tailored approach to increasing referrals. Successful completion of the workshop and testing results in your certification as a CHAP Certified Healthcare Sales Professional© (CHSP©).

OUTCOMES:
As a nationally recognized organization, CHAP’s workshops qualify under the Texas Administrative Codes §558.259 and §558.260 for Initial Educational Training and Continuing Education in Administration of Agencies. Get 18 credits by attending CHAP’s Home Health or Hospice Operations Certification workshop or Healthcare Sales Certification workshop.

Daniel Stephens found his purpose in helping community-based healthcare advocates increase their impact and ability to help more patients receive care. Daniel is passionate about helping healthcare leaders grow their businesses and advance their mission through strategy, innovation, and efficiency.
He specializes in business development leadership and sales experience in the healthcare industry with a focus on DME/respiratory, home infusion, home health, hospice, and palliative care. Prior to joining the CHAP team, Daniel led a large sales team across 15 states to quadruple annual revenue. His role is essential to CEF’s unique approach to business development, ensuring that the pursuit of new business is strategic, qualified, and ethical. He crafts strategy and plans that set the standard for excellence across industries. As a leader and a coach at CFE we value his ability to turn questions into opportunities for growth.
Daniel is compassionate and loves to laugh. You can see this in his efforts to engage youth and make learning fun in his volunteer roles at his church. He enjoys playing guitar and loves sharing the joy of music with his two sons.

Jan Sweat

Vice president of Learning Solutions, Jan Sweat comes to CHAP with over 25 years of experience in healthcare, with a focus in the post-acute industry. For nearly two decades, she worked for Kindred at Home in sales, sales leadership, operations, and talent development.
Prior to joining CHAP, Sweat directed the education and success of tens of thousands of healthcare professionals in Hospice, Home Health, and Palliative Care nationwide. In addition to her classroom impact, she spent several years as a growth strategist connecting corporate strategy to field implementation and interim area management. These roles equipped her with a unique perspective to solve provider problems with robust solutions.
After graduating from North Georgia College and State University earning a degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology, she served as a case manager in a metro Atlanta hospital and a nursing home social service director for several years, where she supported countless patients and families.
